If you want to be sure, you can download the CoronaScanner-app and try to scan the QR-code yourself.
For visitors from the UK and outside of Europe; It is required to get tested via ‘Testen voor Toegang’ (testenvoortoegang.org) in order to be provided access. This includes people who have been fully vaccinated. The test result will be granted with a QR-code and needs to be uploaded in the CoronaCheck-App.
Make sure to schedule a test as soon as possible. There is currently limited testing capacity during ADE week. It is essential to make an appointment as soon as possible! No access will be granted without a QR code.
If you can convert the QR code in your Corona app into an EU Digital Covid Certificate (DCC) vaccination QR code, everything should work. The EU DCC vaccination QR code can be scanned at the entrance.

Important COVID information
Due to Dutch legislation, we will need to have COVID-health-check prior to the event; This means it will take a bit longer to enter the venue, please be 10 minutes earlier than you would normally be.
For Dutch/ European visitors;
All visitors from within Europe are provided access by using the Digital Covid Certificate (DCC), as long as they meet the Dutch travel requirements (wijsopreis.nl). This certificate needs to be uploaded in the CoronaCheck-app. Persons that do not have a vaccination-QR-code will need to be tested through ‘Testen voor Toegang’ (testenvoortoegang.org) in order to receive a valid QR-code in the CoronaCheck-App.

Did you test positive for COVID? Then you can sell your ticket through Ticketswap or get your fee back, if you insured your order through Booking Protect. If you arrive at the venue without a valid QR-code, we cannot refund your ticket.
When to book your test?
To book your appointment, the testenvoortoegang.org website will ask you when the event you wish to visit will start. We advise you to enter the time you expect to arrive at the event.

Our deposit recycle system
During all our Awakenings events we are working with a deposit system on all cups, cans and bottles we give out at the bars. We would like to collect as many as possible, to make sure they can be recycled!
At the entrance, after scanning your ticket, you’ll receive 1 FREE recycle token from us.
With each drink you order, you hand in your recycle token or an empty cup, can or bottle.
Lost your recycle token and/or your cup, can, bottle? Then you have to pay 1 regular token.
When you’re leaving the venue or you don’t want to have a new drink, you can hand in your empty cup, can or bottle at the bar or at the recycle points at the venue. The bar staff will give you your recycle token in return.
There is a unique code on the recycle token, after the event you can go to our website and fill out the code, then you have a chance of winning prizes!
We do not sell cigarettes during our Awakenings events. Due to Dutch regulations, it is forbidden to smoke inside venues. If you still want to smoke, you can go to the designated (outdoor) smoking area. Thank you for cooperating and avoiding expensive fines.
Note: It is allowed to carry a max of 2 packs of cigarettes per person.
No hard drugs are allowed, so all pills, powders, liquids, mushrooms and N20 (nitrous oxide/laughing gas) are forbidden and there will be extra inspections at the entrance and in the venue. Be aware that if security finds any drugs on you, your party will be over and you might be handed over to the police. Only a maximum of 5 gr hash/weed is tolerated at the Gashouder. At the Gashouder you can visit the Unity info-stand at the chill area or you can inform yourself via unity.nl
If you buy your locker online, we will sent you your locker number and pin code upfront by email, so you can skip the line.
Be aware of pickpockets! Keep an eye on your bag/phone. If you see anyone suspicious, go to the security and give a description of the thief. For your safety we also installed some cameras and ask everyone to store jackets and (large) bags in the lockers.
FLOORPLANS AND PRACTICAL INFORMATION
There will be banners of the floor plan and timetable at the entrance. We have 8 sell- ing units for tokens (you can pay with cash or cards), 2 bars, 1 cocktail bar, 2 toilet-groups, merchandise and first aid.
We also have a food stand with lots of different delicious sandwiches, fruit, burgers and icecream.
We will sell a limited amount of Awakenings T-shirts, caps & glasses at the Gashouder. On the floorplan you’ll find where the merchandise stand is located.
Are you ok?
We want everyone to feel totally free and safe at our events. We take care of each other. That’s why we support a campaign about preventing possible harassments. When you think you see someone being harassed or see something else out of the ordinary, ask that person the question ‘Are you OKAY? If not, please inform our staff/security.

Can I buy my locker online?
Save some more time and pre-order your locker now online via https://awakenings.elockers.online. Didn’t secure your locker upfront? No worries, there is still a possibility to buy a locker at the venue.
Can I buy my parking ticket online?
Yes, it's possible to buy your parking ticket online. There is also a possibility to buy your parking ticket at the venue.
Can I bring my medication?
If it is necessary to bring your medication to the event, you need to bring an official declaration of a doctor. In case of doubt, our First Aid crew (EMS) will check your medication and declaration.
Can I bring my e-cigarette and the complementary liquids?
It's allowed to bring your e-cigarette, but you cannot smoke inside. Please use the (outside) smoking areas. The complementary liquids are only allowed in sealed packaging.
I have lost something after visiting the event, what can I do?
If you find something, please drop it off at the locker counter near the entrance. We will collect all stuff and will upload it on iLost.
Will there be lockers available and what are the measurements?
Yes, there will be lockers available during our events. You can buy your locker ticket online before the event. You will receive (24 hours before the event) an e-ticket with your own locker number and a secret code, so this will avoid waiting at the locker desk.

Rules & Regulations
What are the rules and regulations of events at the Gashouder?
- Bring your happy face.
- Age 18+ (don't forget your ID).
- Always follow the instructions of staff, security and emergency services personnel.
- We have the right to refuse admittance without restitution of entrance fees.
- Before entering, our crew or security can ask for your identification to check your name and age.
- There is a possibility that proof of a negative test or proof of vaccination will be required to attend the event
- Always respect other visitors, no (sexual) harassment will be tolerated.
- No pets / fireworks / weapons / sharp or dangerous objects are allowed.
- No drugs are allowed, so all hard drugs, pills, powders, liquids, mushrooms and N20 (nitrous oxide/laughing gas) are forbidden.
Hash / weed (<5 grams) are tolerated (no pre-rolled joints!) only at our events in Amsterdam Gashouder.
- Security will thoroughly search everybody before and during the event.
- When hard drugs are found you will be removed from the event and you might be handed over to the police.
- You're not allowed to bring your own drinks/foods/beverages.
- Store your bags and jackets in our lockers.
- Camera surveillance and metal detectors are part of our and your safety.
- Selfie sticks, professional photo / film / video / audio equipment are not allowed. Standard digital cameras / phones are allowed.
- Club oriented football shirts or shirts / stickers with offending lyrics / symbols etc. are not allowed.
- Football shirts of national teams are allowed.
- Please keep your shirt on.
- Masks are not allowed.
- Smoking is only allowed in the smoking areas, follow the "smoking signs".
- Access is at your own risk. If you feel uncomfortable or if you want ear protection, please go to our first aid/EHBO/EMS, they are your friends.
- It's forbidden to have commercial activities in and around the festival area, without agreement of the organisation.
- Large flags / inflatable objects are not allowed.
- No entrance after two hours from the end and no re-entrance after leaving the party!
What is the minimum age to get in?
At all our events, you have to be 18+. We check for ID at the entrance.
Can I smoke inside the venue?
You are not allowed to smoke inside. We have a designated (outside) smoking area.
Can I bring my own cigarettes?
At all our events we don't sell cigarettes, but you can bring your own cigarettes.
Please note: it is not allowed to take more than 2 packs of cigarettes per person.
How to get there?
What is the best way to travel to the Gashouder?
We’ve built a special bike parking close to the event. Follow the signs and park your bike there. Bikes parked at other inconvenient places will be removed due to safety regulations. Don’t forget to take your bike home: the bike-parking will be removed shortly after the event and bikes that are still there will be cut loose.

Be aware not to leave valuables in your car, thieves with bluetooth trackers seem to be active in the area.
There will be a special taxi-stand near the Gashouder, just follow the signs to get to there. Remember there is a chance fewer taxis are available during the Holidays. And please beware of the illegal "taxi drivers" (called snorders). It's illegal to get in the taxi with them, fines for using them can run very high.
Travel easily, fast and comfortable with Uber to your next destination, you will find your driver at the pick up point near the Vredenhofweg. Please follow the pre-booked taxi signs.
Can I buy tickets at the entrance?
When an event is sold out, you cannot buy tickets at the entrance.
How can I get in touch for ticket questions?

I lost my ticket, what should I do?
Please try to search for 'Paylogic' in your inbox and also check your spam folder. If this doesn't get you any results, please go to consumer.paylogic.nl/tickets, so we can resend your ticket(s) and/or confirmation e-mail to your mail address.
How do I personalize my ticket(s)?
After purchasing your ticket(s) you will receive an email confirmation from Paylogic of the ticket purchase. This email will not yet include your tickets. To receive your tickets, you first have to personalize them. In the email with the purchase confirmation, you will receive further information regarding the personalization process, such as the date from which it is possible to personalize your tickets.
For each ticket, personal information needs to be filled in, such as the full name and email address of the person attending the event. Be aware that the information has to be unique for each ticket and please use the names as mentioned on the respective identification documents (passport/ID card).
Step 1: Booker will receive email from Paylogic with link to the personalization-environment

Step 3: Click on ‘Personalize’ and then on ‘Claim’
Step 4: Fill out data

Why do I need to personalize my ticket(s)?
All larger events are confronted with organizations and people that try to resell tickets for far too high prices. To prevent this, we ask ticket buyers to personalize all tickets by indicating the name of the person who will attend the event. By doing so, tickets will be available for a fair price and belong to an individual festival visitor. This also gives us the opportunity to send relevant event information to all respective festival visitors.
I forgot to personalize my tickets
Tickets can be personalized up to 48 hours before the event. In case you forgot to personalize your tickets on time, you will be contacted by Paylogic.
Until when do I have time to personalize my ticket(s)?
For NYE 2021/22; You can start personalizing your ticket(s) from 1 December on.
You do not have to personalize your tickets immediately; tickets can be personalized up to 48 hours before the event.
Instructions for the main booker of the ticket(s)
Open the email of your order confirmation that you received via Paylogic after you have purchased your tickets for Awakenings. Click on the link “PERSONALIZE NOW” in the email. This will bring you to the personalization page of Awakenings.
Start personalizing your ticket Click on the button of the personalization page to start personalizing your Awakenings ticket.
Create an Awakenings account.
Personalize and claim your ticket. In your personal Awakenings account, you will see an overview of all tickets of your order. The first thing you need to do is to personalize and claim ONE ticket for yourself.
Invite your friends (only applicable if you have purchased more than one ticket). After you have claimed your own ticket, return to the order overview by clicking “back to order”. If you have purchased more than one ticket, please invite your friends to the personalization process by clicking on “invite”. Select ‘copy link’ to copy the personalization link, which you can send to your friends. It is important that you do not send this link to people that are not part of your order, as this is the key to your tickets. Remember: ALL your friends need to personalize their tickets individually. They also need an Awakenings account for this.
Receive your tickets. Once ALL tickets have been personalized individually by your friends, YOU (as the main booker) will receive them in your email. Please take note that the tickets will only be sent to you once every single ticket has been personalized.
Send the tickets to your friends after receiving all the tickets, you can send them to your friends.
Instruction for those, who didn't buy ticket(s) themselves
Open the invitation link to personalize your ticket. The main booker (the one who has purchased your ticket for you) sent you a link to start the personalization process. Click on that link. If you did not receive that link, please get in touch with the person who purchased the ticket for you and ask him/her to follow the instructions for the main booker (see above).
Create an Awakenings account
Personalize your ticket. Follow the instructions via the link.
Receive your ticket from the main booker. As soon as every ticket holder has personalized their ticket, the main booker (so not you) will receive all tickets via email. Please ask the main booker for your ticket.
I have a ticket but I cannot attend anymore, can I still sell my ticket through Ticketswap?
You can still sell your ticket through Ticketswap, after the personalization.
