Tickets

Where can I purchase tickets for Awakenings Festival?

You can purchase your Awakenings tickets directly from us at www.awakeningsfestival.nl, www.awakenings.com or our Facebook page. If you want to sell or buy tickets safely, do this on the official website: ticketswap.nl

We also provide ticket packages including hotels, accommodation and travel partners. These can be found under menu 'Hotel Packages'. Other (international) partners will be listed here soon. Please check with info@awakenings.nl if you are not sure about some kind of reseller.

Where can I buy tickets for the festival?

What payment methods are possible?

For plain festival tickets we accept transactions from everyone through Visa and Mastercard.
- For Dutch people it is also possible to pay through iDeal.
- For Belgian people it is also possible to pay through ING Homepay and Bankcontact/Mr. Cash.
- For German people it is also possible to pay through Sofort Uberweisung.

For the hotel packages we can only accept Visa and Mastercard (Credit Card). If you do not have a Credit Card you can't proceed with the booking. You could ask a family member or friend in posssession of a Credit Card to process the payment for you.

It is not possible to pay in installments!

I lost my festival ticket! What should I do?

Please try to search for ‘Paylogic’ in your inbox and also check your spam folder.
If this does not get you any results, please send an email to cs@paylogic.eu, so we can resend your ticket(s) and/or confirmation email to your email address.

Somehow I am not able to complete my ticket order.

Is there a Combi ticket (valid for 2 days?)

Yes there is!
 
If you buy a Combi ticket, you will receive 1 e-ticket. Use the separate "Combi Ticket" entrance at the festival site. Here, you will get a special Awakenings wristband at the festival entrance at Day 1 (Saturday June 30th) which is valid for 2 days.

On Sunday, go to the "Combi Ticket"  entrance as well and your e-ticket will be scanned again.

Where can I buy this Combi ticket?

How does the Combi ticket work?

If you buy a Combi ticket, you will receive 1 e-ticket. At the festival, you can use the separate "Combi Ticket" entrance.

On Day 1 (Saturday June 30th) your e-ticket will be scanned and you will receive a special Awakenings wristband, which is valid for 2 days.

On Day 2 (Sunday July 1st) again go to the 'Combi ticket'  entrance. We will scan your e-ticket again and after showing your wristband, you will be allowed in.

Make sure you get your wristband, otherwise you won’t be able to enter on Sunday!

If you're not able to visit on Saturday bring your ticket on Sunday and get your wristband. We have to be very strict, if your ticket is scanned on Saturday, but you're not wearing a wristband you are not allowed to enter.

You can sell your Combi-ticket but only as 1 ticket, not as seperate tickets.

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age to enter Awakenings Festival is 18 years.

Can I re-sell my ticket?

It is NOT allowed and therefore illegal to resell your ticket through unofficial channels/websites etc.

Please note: the Combi-Ticket can be sold to a "third party", but only as 1 ticket. It is NOT a seperate ticket for two days. You can only sell it to 1 person as it only allows entrance to the same person on both days.

Only buy your tickets at our official sales channel: Awakenings website (www.awakenings.com) or at the Awakenings Festival website (www.awakeningsfestival.nl).
This way you will never pay too much and you make sure your tickets are real.

What is the minimum age to get in?

The festival will be open from 12:00 till 23:00 on both days.

What is the policy on drugs?

All hard drugs and soft drugs are NOT allowed.

All kind of harddrugs like pills, powders, liquids, mushrooms but also softdrugs such as weed/hasj/joints and N2O (nitrous oxide/laughing gas) are forbidden at Awakenings Festival. There will be extra inspections at the entrance and in the venue. When you are caught with harddrugs, your party is over and you will be handed over to the police. Have a look at the information video about the drugs regulations in The Netherlands, including subtitles in French, Italian, German and Spanish. 


What are hard and soft drugs?

Can I bring my medication?

If it is necesarry to bring your medication to the festival, you need to bring an official declaration of a doctor. In case of doubt, our Security and/or First Aid (EMS) will check your medication and declaration.

What is EMS?

What facilities will there be for disabled guests/wheelchaires?

The festival is wheelchair-proof. There is a special entrance at both entrances for disabled guests, there are floors in the tents, plates on the grass and accessible toilets at every toilet area.

The entrance for the escorting person of visitors who are in a wheel chair or carry a severely handicapped pass is free.

In case you are in possession of a disabled parking permit, you can show it to the parking crew. If possible, they will arrange a parking place near the event. A place near the entrance cannot be guaranteed.
With your disabled parking card, you get the most optimal parking at that time. When the parking is closed for other traffic the disabled parking ticket grants you access. 
Note: this is not free parking. Buy your parking ticket online to ensure you are kept informed with the latest traffic information to Awakenings Festival.

My son/daughter is 16 years old and I would like to bring him/her to Awakenings Festival. Is this allowed under my supervision?

Unfortunately, it's not allowed to enter Awakenings Festival if you are not 18+. There will be ID-checks at the entrance.

Do you have organized bus tours from outside of Amsterdam?

Yes we have!
Event Travel offers more than 150 pick-up locations for Awakenings Festival throughout the Nethelands. Travel cheaper, faster and more comfortable to Awakenings. Book a bus ticket (round trip) or buy a Combi ticket (entrance incl. bus)! 

Looking for a coach from Belgium or Germany? Event Travel also offers pick-up locations in Antwerp - Brussel - Dortmund - Ghent – Keulen – Dusseldorf and Duisburg.

Are there Uber's available to and from Awakenings Festival?

Yes, there are, but please keep in mind going back to Amsterdam by Uber after the festival will have long waiting times. 

Leaving Awakenings? 
Follow the Uber Signing and you will find your driver faster than ever at the special Uber Pick-Up Point location. The Uber app will guide you to this Pick-Up Point as well. When you can’t find your driver, please call him so you can meet at the Uber Pick-Up Point. Always check the license-plate. 

How does it work?
Via the Uber app you order a ride with one tap: a car with professional driver. When you arrive on your destination, your ride gets charged on your connected credit card or PayPal account. Good to know, UberBLACK is 15% cheaper than a taxi and UberX is 45% cheaper!

1. Download the Uber app for iPhone or Android. On any other phone go to m.uber.com.

What is a shuttle service?

The shuttle service commutes back and forth between the Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station and the festival site throughout the entire day (11:00 - 00:30 CET). This service is recommended for visitors that stay in hotels close to Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station. 

What is a transfer service?

The transfer service commutes from your hotel to the festival site only once a day, and will also travel back from the festival site to your hotel just once. This service is recommended for visitors that stay in hotels NOT nearby Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station.

What is the difference between the shuttle service and transfer service?

The shuttle service commutes back and forth between the Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station and the the festival site. This service is recommended for visitors that stay in hotels nearby Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station. 
 
The transfer service travels from certain hotels to the festival site only once a day, and will also travel back from the festival site to these hotels once a day. This service is recommended to visitors that stay in hotels outside of the proximity of the Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station area.

How can I purchase a shuttle or transfer service?

During the booking process you are given the opportunity to include the shuttle or transfer service to your package, depending on your hotel choice. The ticket(s) will be sent to your email address along with your festival ticket(s) two weeks prior to the event the latest. In case you already completed your order and forgot to include the shuttle/transfer service in the package, you can send us an email with your request (don’t forget to include your booking reference).

Can I still purchase the transfer/shuttle service after I completed my booking?

Yes, this is possible. Please send an email to travel@paylogic.com stating your request. We kindly ask you to provide us your order number when sending us an email, so we can assist you as quick as possible.

When and where will the shuttle/transfer service depart?

In case you have booked a shuttle or transfer service, your ticket(s) will be sent to your email address two weeks prior to the event.

Did you book a transfer service? Your ticket(s) will show from where and at what time your bus will depart.

Did you book a shuttle service? All shuttle busses will be departing from Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station, starting at 11:00 CET, and will be commuting back and forth between the station and the festival site all day. The last shuttle bus will leave the festival site at 00:30 CET. At the festival site there will be signs showing where the shuttles are located.

Are the busses accessible for disabled persons?

Yes, the busses are accessible for disabled persons.

If I use the transfer or shuttle service, what do I have to show?

If you are using the transfer or shuttle service, you will be asked to show your identification to verify that you are the owner of the ticket. Of course you will also need to show your bus ticket(s).

I lost my ticket(s) for my transfer/shuttle service, what should I do?

In this case, please contact us as soon as possible at travel@paylogic.com so we can resend your tickets. If you lose your ticket(s) during your stay, please contact Event Travel on +31 (0)38 4256730.

I missed my transfer/shuttle service to the hotel or the event, what should I do?

In case of a missed transfer or shuttle, please contact Event Travel on +31 (0)38 4256730.

Will there be transfer busses available to the city center after the festival?

All transfer buses will make an extra stop in the city center before commuting back to the hotel.

Is it possible to pay for someone else?

Yes, this is possible. You can fill out your own Credit Card details, these do not have to match the details as mentioned on the ticket. 

I provided the wrong email address, what should I do?

In case you provided an incorrect email address, but successfully completed the payment, you can contact us at travel@paylogic.com. Please enclose a proof of payment (e.g. a screenshot of your bank statement) so that we can modify your email address and resend the information to your correct email address.

I did receive a hotel confirmation email, but no festival ticket(s)!

Your festival ticket(s) will be sent to you at a later date than the confirmation email. No later than two weeks prior to the event will you receive your hotel voucher and ticket(s) by email. If you have not received your ticket(s) at this moment, please contact us at travel@paylogic.com.

Somehow I am not able to complete my hotel package order.

We are sorry about that and we would love to help you out. Please send us an email at travel@paylogic.com with your request or give us a call us on +31 (0)88- 7000 110.

I lost my hotel package(s)! What should I do?

Please try to search for ‘Paylogic Travel’ in your inbox and also check your spam folder.

Please note that your ticket(s) will be sent to you approximately two weeks prior to the event!
 
In case of a short time frame prior to the event, making it impossible for us to resend your ticket(s) by email, you can also obtain your tickets at the entrance of the festival.
Please encounter someone of the Paylogic staff at the entrance, taking the identification of the main buyer. They will be able to help you out.

My name and/or information is stated incorrectly. What should I do?

In this case please send an email to travel@paylogic.com. We will modify your information as soon as possible. Don’t forget to include your booking reference.

I have not received a hotel confirmation email. What should I do?

Please check your spam folder. If you are still unable to locate your confirmation email, please contact us via travel@paylogic.com.

I did receive a hotel confirmation email, but I have not received my bus ticket(s)!

Your hotel voucher and bus- and event ticket(s) will be sent to you at a later date than the confirmation email. No later than two weeks prior to the event you may expect your ticket(s) in your inbox. If you have not received your ticket(s) at this moment, please contact us at travel@paylogic.com.

The tickets I bought for my group have my name on it, but I am unable to attend. How do we resolve this?

How unfortunate! You can contact us by email travel@paylogic.com and we will do our best to find a suitable solution.

When will I receive my ticket(s) and/or booking confirmation?

After the payment has been completed and received by Paylogic, you will instantly receive your confirmation email. The hotel voucher, bus and/or festival tickets will be sent at a later moment. You can expect these ticket(s) to arrive in your inbox two weeks prior to the event.

This varies per package. For this information, we gladly refer you to the booking page. Here you can take a look at all the different packages, and see what is included in each of them.

Can I place an order for someone else?

This is possible, however the confirmation and tickets can only be sent to the main buyer. You can fill out the information of the person that will attend the festival. This will then become the main buyer.

I cannot add more than 4 persons to my booking, what can I do?

If you would like to add more than 4 persons to your booking, please contact us at travel@paylogic.com so we can arrange a group booking for you.

When can I expect an answer to my e-mail?

Is it possible to add one or more person(s) to my booking?

Of course this is possible! We would love to help you with this. Please call us on +31 (0)88 - 7000 110 or send us an e-mail at travel@paylogic.com. Don’t forget to include your booking reference.

Can I change my hotel choice?

No, unfortunately this is not possible. Only in exceptional situations there is a possibility to change your booking. If you think you are eligible for this exception, please send an email to travel@paylogic.com. As soon as we receive your request we will take it into consideration. However, we can not guarantee that changes can be made.

Is there a shuttle and/or transfer service from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to my hotel?

Unfortunately, we do not offer any shuttles or transfers from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. However, trains from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station depart regularly.

I have a question about my hotel, who should I contact?

Till what time am I allowed to check out?

This depends on the hotel you are staying in. Therefore, please carefully check your booking overview to see what the check-in and -out times are. You can find the link to your booking overview in the confirmation email that you received. Please contact us in case of any doubt or confusion.

At what time am I able to check-in at the day of arrival?

This depends on the hotel you are staying in. Therefore, please carefully check your booking overview to see what the check-in and -out times are. Do I need a credit card to check-in at the hotel?

It is possible that some hotels require you to provide them a Credit Card for the use of additional services in the hotel (e.g. minibar consumptions or deposit). We kindly refer you to the hotel policies for this information.

What do I need for the check-in at my hotel?

To check-in at the hotel you will need your hotel voucher (you will receive your vouchers no later than two weeks prior to the event), together with a valid ID card or passport. In some cases you may be asked for a Credit Card.

Can I check-in at the hotel and enter the event by showing the hotel documents and/or festival ticket(s) on my phone?

We recommend you to print your hotel documents and ticket(s). We cannot guarantee that the hotel accepts digital confirmations. Please keep in mind that the connection/signal at the event site could be very limited as well. We therefore advise you to bring a hardcopy of all the documents.

Is there a camping (campsite)?

Unfortunately there is no offical camping site. Spending the night at or near the festival area is not allowed!

Is it possible to download the dj-sets?

It's not possible to download dj-sets at the moment. You can listen to DJ sets on our Soundcloud page.

Where can I listen to Awakenings dj-sets?

I would like to have Awakenings pictures in my house. Is this possible and how do I get these pictures?

We're sorry, but all our pictures are protected by copyright and can't be used for personal use.

Is it possible to smoke inside the tents?

It is NOT allowed to smoke inside the tents. We have several designated smoking areas outside.

Is it possible to smoke on the festival ground?

There is a possibility to smoke on the festival ground but only outside the tents.
You are not allowed to smoke inside the tents.

Which items are not allowed inside the venue/festival?

No fireworks, weapons or sharp or dangerous objects.
You’re not allowed to bring your own drinks/food/beverages.

No professional photo/film/video/audio equipment and go pro/selfie stick is allowed, but standard digital cameras are ok.

No club orientated football shirts or shirts with offending lyrics/symbols/tattoos etc. 

And please keep your shirt on! :)

I purchased a ticket including hotel. When can I expect the free Awakenings book?

The Awakenings 20 Year book will be in your room when you arrive at your hotel!

How do we make our festival as sustainable as possible?

We are doing as much as we can to make our festival as green as possible. We are constantly looking for innovations !

What we do:

  • We ask our visitors to come by public transport or bike as much as possible.
  • We  offer our visitors free drinking water.
  • There is a free drinking water tap at all our toilet groups where you can refill your cup.
  • All our catering is 95% vegetarian (for visitors as well as for crew).
  • We only use bio meat for the other 5%. 
  • We seperate our waste, frontstage as well as backstage. 
  • We recycle and re-use our material as much as possible.
  • We decrease the use of generators by planning the amount of energy which we need very carefully and minimalize the use wherever we can. 
  • We use HVO diesel & Green battery to reduce our CO2 emission. 
  • On all stages we use advanced switches, to reduce power emission.
  • Invest in the festival grounds of Spaarnwoude and have meetings with the local community on reinvesting in the area.

Will there be gluten-free and vegan food available?

Yes of course! We have many different food stands across the festival, some of the stands will have gluten-free and/or vegan options in their menu.

I've lost my mobile phone/keys/jacket/passport. What can I do?

If you find something please drop it off at the iLost stand at the fairground. We will collect all stuff and will upload it in the iLost system.

If you lost something you can check this website and regain your belongings.
