Newa

Ana Kublashvili is a classically trained musician from Tbilisi, on the forefront of the rapidly emerging Georgian electronic music scene. As Newa she has steadily secured her place as a household name in the capitals main clubs such as Bassiani, Khidi & Mtkvarze, where she regularly showcases her versatile, and much praised DJ sets.
As a producer Newa takes inspiration from her background as a jazz musician, resulting in anything from organically evolving ambient trips, to crafty & stripped down techno cuts that instantly become a staple in playlists of the genres mainstays.
After sharing a various artist EP with Abdulla Rashim & Varg on Bassiani’s self titled label, 2017 sees the birth of her imprint “Icon Trax”, as well releases on Klockworks & Semantica
