Our deposit recycle system

During all our Awakenings events we are working with a deposit system on all cups, cans and bottles we give out at the bars. We would like to collect as many as possible, to make sure they can be recycled!

1. At the entrance, after scanning your ticket, you’ll receive 1 FREE recycle token from us.
2. With each drink you order, you hand in your recycle token or an empty cup, can or bottle.
3. Lost your recycle token and/or your cup, can, bottle? Then you have to pay 1 regular token.
4. When you’re leaving the venue or you don’t want to have a new drink, you can hand in your empty cup, can or bottle at the bar or at the recycle points at the venue. The bar staff will give you your recycle token in return.
5. There is a unique code on the recycle token, after the event you can go to our website and fill out the code, then you have a chance of winning prizes!

Location & travel

Awakenings Eindhoven takes place at the Klokgebouw, Eindhoven.

Public Transport
Use public transport! At the beginning of the event the trains will stop in front of the Klokgebouw at the train station Eindhoven Strijp-S.

IMPORTANT: There will be no night trains! First train will leave at 06:24 AM from Strijp-S to Eindhoven Central Station.

Look for current departure times on 9292 or NS or use the NS planner application (Android / iOs) or the 9292 application (Android / iOs).

Bike
You can rent an OV-fiets at Eindhoven Central Station. It is obligatory to have an OV-chipkaart, with this card you can get a season ticket which you can use for renting a bike. For more information visit the website of NS.

Car
Follow the signs "Strijp-S" and set 'Stoomstraat' in your navigation system to get near the parking area. Another parking option is the Kastanjelaan.

If you travel with a rented bus, please email to info@awakenings.nl for instructions.

Taxi
There will be a special taxi stand near the Klokgebouw, just follow the signs to get there (de Machinekamer).

Uber and other pre ordered taxi’s
Travel easily, fast and comfortable with Uber to your next destination, you will find your driver at the pick up point near the Achtseweg Zuid. Please follow the pre-booked taxi signs.

Lockers

Bought your locker online in the pre-sale? (available till Tuesday 23rd of January).
You will receive an e-mail with your own locker number and a secret code, so this will avoid waiting at the locker desk. This email will be sent on Thursday 25th. If you bought your locker online and received the number and pin code, you will not be able to sell the locker e-ticket through Ticketswap anymore.

Standard: H22 * B25 * D50 cm
Large: H36 * B25 * D50 cm

Drugs policy

Awakenings is a zero tolerance event. No drugs are allowed, so all pills, powders, liquids, mushrooms and N20 (nitrous oxide/laughing gas) are forbidden and there will be extra inspections at the entrance and in the venue. Be aware that if security finds any drugs on you, your party will be over and you might be handed over to the police.

Smoking regulations

It is forbidden to smoke inside venues. If you still want to smoke, you can go to the designated (outdoor) smoking area.

It is allowed to carry a max of 2 packs of cigarettes per person.

We do not sell cigarettes at the venue.

Pickpockets

Be aware of pickpockets! Keep an eye on your bag/phone and leave valuable golden necklaces at home. If you see anyone suspicious, go to the security and describe the thief. For your safety, we also installed some cameras and asked everyone to store jackets and (large) bags in the lockers.

Floorplan & practical info

We have 14 selling units for tokens (you can pay with cash or cards), 5 bars, 1 cocktail bar, 2 toilet groups, merchandise and first aid.

We also have a food stand with lots of different delicious sandwiches, fruit, burgers, and ice cream. Our menu is 100% vegetarian.

Merchandise

Visit the merchandise store to buy one of our splendid Awakenings T-shirts, hoodies, caps, handfans, sun glasses and get your earplugs.

Lost something? We put all items on the website of iLost.

Social Safety

At Awakenings, we aim to create a safe space where you can be yourself and lose yourself.

We value and respect all people. We have a collective responsibility and take care of each other.

If you experience or notice behavior that’s not in line with our values, please check in with each other and know that our (social safety) staff is always there for you. At the toilets, there is a poster with QR-code which will bring you in contact with the organisation.

We encourage you to live in the moment, make memories and minimize the use of your mobile phones. When taking pictures and videos, please respect that some visitors might not want to be photographed or filmed.

General

Can I bring my medication?

If it is necessary to bring your medication to the event, you need to bring an official declaration of a doctor. In case of doubt, our First Aid crew (EMS) will check your medication and declaration.

Can I bring my e-cigarette and the complementary liquids?

It's allowed to bring your e-cigarette, but you cannot smoke inside. Please use the (outside) smoking areas. The complementary liquids are only allowed in sealed packaging.

I have lost something after visiting the event, what can I do?

If you find something, please drop it off at the locker counter near the entrance. We will collect all stuff and will upload it on iLost.

Rules & Regulations

What are the rules and regulations of the Klokgebouw?

• Bring your happy face.
• Please turn up the brightness of the screen on your phone and download your e-ticket for faster access to the party.
• Age 18+ (don't forget your ID).
• Always follow the instructions of staff, security and emergency services personnel.
• Before entering, our crew or security can ask for your identification to check your name and age.
• Always respect other visitors, no (sexual) harassment will be tolerated.
  
• No fireworks/weapons/sharp or dangerous objects are allowed.
• No drugs are allowed, so all pills, powders, liquids, mushrooms, hash, weed and N20 (nitrous oxide/laughing gas) are forbidden.
• Security will thoroughly search everybody before entering the event.
• When hard drugs are found you will be removed from the event and you might be handed over to the police.
• You're not allowed to bring your own drinks/foods/beverages.
• Store your bags and jackets in our lockers.
• Camera surveillance is part of our and your safety.
• No professional photo/film/video/audio equipment nor "selfie-sticks" are allowed.
• Standard digital cameras are allowed.
• No football shirts or shirts with offending lyrics/symbols/etc. are allowed.
• Please keep your shirt on at our events.
• No large flags / inflatables obstructing view.
• Smoking is only allowed in the smoking areas, follow the "smoking signs".
• We have the right to refuse admittance without restitution of entrance fees.
• Access is at your own risk.
• If you feel uncomfortable or if you want ear protection, please go to our first aid/EHBO/EMS, they are your friends.
• No entrance after 02.00 and no re-entrance after leaving the party!

What is the minimum age to get in?

At all our events, you have to be 18+.
We will check your ID at the entrance.

Can I smoke inside the venue?

You are not allowed to smoke inside. We have a designated (outside) smoking area.

Can I bring my own cigarettes?

At all our events we don't sell cigarettes, but you can bring your own cigarettes.

Please note: it is not allowed to take more than 2 packs of cigarettes per person.

Ticket questions

Can I buy tickets at the entrance?

If the event is sold out, it is not possible to buy tickets at the venue. Please check Ticketswap to see if there are any tickets offered.

How can I get in touch for ticket questions?

I lost my ticket, what should I do?

Please try to search for 'Paylogic' in your inbox and also check your spam folder.
If this doesn't get you any results, please go to consumer.paylogic.nl/tickets, so we can resend your ticket(s) and/or confirmation e-mail to your mail address.
