Lola Cerise

A French DJ based in Paris, Lola Cerise was born in a family of creatives, her mother wasa classical musician, and her uncle was a chief orchestra. She played the piano butconfesses her rebellious side lead her to do her own thing, where during her teenageyears became a regular at many illegal raves where she discovered acid core, tribal andtribe core genres.

When she was a teenager, she openly talks about her mother’s battle with depressionover her parents’ divorce, a situation which has deeply created her necessity for ahardworking attitude, along with never needing to depend on anyone but herself toachieve her goals.

At 18, she initially moved to Lyon to study art and made the decision to learnphotography as a profession, dropped out of university and became a part time modelto help pay for her studies. After some years studying photography, she decided to moveto Australia for 3 years, where she started to get back into raving. It was there Lolastarted to play around with DJ’ing, progressing to producing within a year and soonrealised that she needed to move to a new city, Paris in 2022.

Lola’s music is a reflection of all of these experiences, sometimes its fast and intense,other times more emotive and complex, but always tells a story. She has released onGomboc Records, Comme des les films, Khazad Records and Record Union, supportedalready by Indira Paganotto, I Hate Models and Cera Khin, she also has landed a slot asa resident at the legendary Gotec Club, whilst starting her own label First Date WithoutPanties, alongside key streams with HÖR Berlin, and BCCO. She announces her debutin 2025, with an 8 track mini LP on ARTCORE, a big milestone and the start of an excitingnew journey.
