Marhu

Marhu stands as one of Belgium’s most promising international music producers and DJs. Born and raised in Brussels, with Swiss and Belgian heritage, her sound is PsyTrance and Techno infused by her love of the Eastern cultures, she implements Japanese and Indian instruments including flutes and guitars to create a unique sound element not synonymous with the rave scene.

Alongside a key release ‘Through My Veins’ on HE.SHE.THEY, she is now a resident artist of ARTCORE Records, breaking out on the labels OFFSonar 2024 VA in June 2024, with her track ‘Bansuri’. A huge hit for the label and her as an artist, with its crisply produced tempo and delightful overtones, it quickly peaked at the No.2 spot on Beatport’s PsyTrance Top 10 chart. Her most recent and biggest release was in September 2024, with ‘Bhajan’, a 3 tracker, that also came with a special DJ Tool, it secured Marhu the rare feat of having three tracks in Beatport’s Top 20.

Recognised as an emerging act on Beatportal's ‘On Our Radar’ editorial, her DJ sets prioritize storytelling whilst engaging her audiences with positivity and energy.

Her 2024 gigs at Rex Club Paris, Fuse In Brussels, System in Shanghai, Bricks Festival, as well as ARTCORE’s first showcase in Belgrade, an event co-produced with EXIT Festival and No Sleep Festival, and a massive show in December alongside Indira and Cera Khin in Buenos Aires – all highlight Marhu as a rising star to watch.
