There’s a raw urgency in UFO95’s approach to techno, a sense that each kick and loop is being forged in
real time. The French artist has built his name on a sound that’s both hypnotic and visceral, channeling the
darker pulse of ‘90s and early ‘00s techno while keeping it fiercely present.

Based in Brussels, and holding a residency at Tresor in Berlin, UFO95 has become a key figure in the new
wave of live performers redefining techno’s boundaries. His sets at institutions like Berghain, Bassiani,
Basement NY, and Tresor are driven by improvisation rather than premeditation: machines breathing,
patterns mutating, energy shifting as he lives each movement of the music.

On record, his releases for Tresor, WSNWG, MORD, and his co-run label TSSRCT (togther with Hadone, as
the duo Civic Instruction) channel the same stripped, relentless energy that powers his performances.
UFO95’s music isn’t nostalgic, it is a reimagining of techno’s core principles: repetition as hypnosis, rhythm
