SOCIAL SAFETY HUB AND TEAM

If you experience or notice behavior that’s not in line with our values, please check in with each other and know that our (socials safety) staff is always here for you.

At the festival and camping, we have created a Social Safety Hub. This is a place you can visit any time if you want to talk to someone about (social-) safety or have questions or comments. The Social Safety Hub at the festival can be found next to the first aid. At the camping, the hub can be found at Area N.

Our Social Safety teams walk around the festival as well and are recognizable by their jackets with ‘SOCIAL SAFETY TEAM’ on their back.

If this does not feel comfortable, there are leaflets at the entrance and toilets with a QR-code. By scanning the QR-code, you will start a WhatsApp converstation with staff on site who will help you.

CAMPING ONLINE STORE

For your convenience, we have a pre-sale Festival Camping store.

Buying your items in this shop guarantees you your favorite items or a guaranteed spot at one of the program classes and means you can skip the line. At the campsite, simply go to the ‘Click & Collect’ point and your e-ticket will be scanned.

MERCHANDISE

We have a brand new baseline collection & festival line, only available at the festival, including hats & swimwear. Make sure to get yours as all items and sizes are very limited. Once you have ordered the items, our crew will pack your order within 2 hours and you can pick it up at the merchandise stand between Festival Entrance South & Area V. So no need to rush to the merchandise store, we’ve got you covered and your order is ready for pick-up between Festival opening hours.

Stay fit and enjoy one of the many sports classes we offer like yoga, buddy workouts and more. Please be aware some classes are limited so book in advance to secure your spot.

HEALING PROGRAM

Get ready for some time of relaxation and peace to recharge for the rest of the weekend. Please be aware some classes are limited so book in advance to secure your spot for Soundhealing, Cacao ceremony, Deephouse Vinyasa & Psychedelic Breath!

CAMPING GEAR

No need to carry all your stuff. Buy your 2-person tent, air mattrass, chair and lock in pre-sale and pick it up at the Grand Camping check-in or Comfort Camping check-in tent. Limited availability.

MASSAGE & WELLNESS

A whole weekend of partying requires more energy than you think. Take care of yourself and book yourself and your friends a well-deserved treat! You will receive a discount when booking in the online store. Swimwear is mandatory!

There is also a massage stand at the festival!

COLD DRINKS

No need to shop upfront, carry heavy bags and drink warm drinks at our campsite. Buy your cold 6-pack of Bud beer or Lipton Ice Tea with massive discount and pick it up at the bar at the supermarket or Comfort Camping check-in tent.

Sachin Sehgal and Lenneke Sicking are the founders of Home of Shivay. With Home of Shivay its their mission to empower individuals in their personal growth and self-discovery journeys. They believe in everyone’s potential to achieve their highest self and lead a purpose-driven life. Their services and resources are designed to help people become more present, expand self-awareness, overcome their challenges, and release past traumas. They aim to support the transition from 'surviving' to truly 'living' and embracing life. By blending authentic eastern practices with modern western techniques, they offer a holistic approach to growth, healing, and transformation.

Through Home of Shivay Sachin and Lenneke offer personal guidance and group sessions. They are both certified trauma releasing breathwork facilitators and sound healers. In addition Sachin is also a certified mindfulness teacher and Lenneke is a certified yoga teacher and life coach. In their practice they offer retreats, breathwork therapy, sound therapy, cacao ceremonies, cold water immersions, mindfulness coaching and various other coaching and counselling programs. Sachin and Lenneke are deeply committed to form warm and loving communities, where people feel safe are being held and can express themselves freely as they are.

Did you discover a small hole in your air mattress? Don't worry, we can fix it!

If you've brought your own camping equipment but won't be using it again, we encourage you to make a difference by dropping it off at our recycle store before you depart. Your donated gear will find a new home with refugees, creating a positive impact on their lives and fostering sustainability.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

WRISTBANDS & ACCESSIBILITY

At the entrance every weekend visitor receives an Awakenings wristband. This wristband gives you access to the festival and camping during the entire weekend, so don’t take it off. With a Grand Camping wristband, you cannot enter the Comfort Camping. If you are staying at the Relax Resort & Comfort Camping, you will have access to the Grand Camping and all it’s activities. Wristbands will only be distributed once. If you have any questions or issues you can go back to the entrance.

AWAKENINGS RECEPTION OPEN 24H

Check in, Info, Lost & Found & campstore. At both campsites, you can find our information desk & small camp store which is open 24-hours a day from Friday - Monday.

FIRST AID OPEN 24H

First Aid is located at the centre of the Grand camping and is open 24-hours a day from Friday - Monday. You can go there for any questions or health issues 24-hours a day. In case of an emergency, warn ­ someone from the organization, security, or First Aid. A full weekend of partying can be tiring, so make sure you look after each other. And remember, the First Aid team is your friend!

The first aid has also teams walking around both campsites. If you are at the Relax Resort and need medical assistance you can ask our staff if someone is nearby.

ALL DRUGS ARE FORBIDDEN

Awakenings is a Zero Tolerance event. All kinds of hard drugs like pills, ­ powders, liquids, mushrooms, and soft drugs such as weed/hasj/joints and N2O (nitrous oxide/ laughing gas) are forbidden.

There will be inspections at the entrance of the festival & campsite. When you are caught with drugs, your party is over and you might be handed over to the police.

CHARGING YOUR PHONE

For many people cell phones have become indispensable and unfortunately the current smartphone batteries often don’t last for more than a day. At the camp store at the reception you can buy a mobile charger and at the locker desk on the festival site.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

• Bring your happy face.
• Age 18+ (don't forget your ID).
• Always follow the instructions of staff, security, and emergency services personnel.
• We have the right to refuse admittance without restitution of entrance fees.
• Before entering, our crew or security can ask for your identification to check your name and age.
• Only in case of emergency, you are allowed to leave the campsite /festival area.
• You have read and respect our code of conduct. Always respect other visitors, no (sexual) harassment will be tolerated. In case you suffer anything of this kind, please turn to the staff of our First Aid, they are trained to help you.
• No pets / fireworks / weapons / sharp or dangerous objects are allowed.
• No drugs are allowed, so all (hard and soft) drugs, pills, powders, liquids, mushrooms, and N20 (nitrous oxide/laughing gas) are forbidden.
• No hash/weed is tolerated at this festival (only at our events in Amsterdam Gashouder)
• Security will thoroughly search everybody before and during the event.
• When hard drugs are found you will be removed from the event and you might be handed over to the police.
• Campsite: You may bring your own food for own consumption.
• Campsite: You may bring a total of 4,5L of liquid pro person, among which a maximum of 1L can be pre-mixed.
• Campsite: All liquid must be sealed and packed in its original packaging· Glass packaging is not allowed· Pre-mixed only in original and sealed packaging (cans)· Soft drinks are allowed· Strong liquor (more than 15%) is not allowed
• Campsite: Leave your spot clean, we have a ‘leave no trace’ policy on the complete campgrounds.
• Gas grills, stoves, fridges, beer kegs and jockey boxes are not allowed.
• For your own safety and of other visitors crowd surfing, climbing in trees or scaffoldings and starting a fire is not allowed.
• Swimming in the lake is only allowed at the designated areas and on designated hours.
• Public urinating is not allowed and is distasteful for others, smelly and completely unnecessary.
• Small battery powered speakers with a maximal volume of 80 dB(A) are allowed. Speakers with a volume more than 80 dB(A) are not allowed. Size max 30cm. Respect your neighbors!
• Candles are not allowed.
• Camera surveillance and metal detectors are part of our and your safety.
• Selfie sticks, professional photo / film / video / audio equipment are not allowed. Standard digital cameras/phones are allowed.
• Club-oriented football shirts, motorclub colors or shirts/stickers with offending lyrics/symbols etc. are not allowed.
• Football shirts of national teams are allowed.
• Please keep your shirt on.
• Masks that cover the eyes / whole face are not allowed. Only (Medical) face masks for covering nose and mouth are allowed.
• Large flags / inflatable objects are not allowed.
• Smoking is only allowed outside.
• Access is at your own risk. If you feel uncomfortable or if you want ear protection, please go to our first aid / EHBO / EMS, they are your friends.
• It's forbidden to have commercial activities, without the agreement of the organization.

CAMPING INFO

DRINKS

You may bring a total of 4,5L of liquid per person, among which a maximum of 1L can be alcohol or pre-mixed. All liquid must be sealed and packed in its original packaging:

• Glass packaging is not allowed
• Pre-mixed only in original and sealed packaging (cans)
• Soft drinks are allowed
• Strong liquor (more than 15% alcohol) is not allowed

FOOD

You can bring your own food for your own consumption. Open fires, camping stoves and BBQs are not allowed.

FREE WATER

Water is for everyone! That’s why you can fill up your own bottles or­ ­ jerry cans with water at any time at the water taps at the sanitary facilities. At the festival we will provide several free water points near the toilets.

SAVE WATER: EVERY DROP COUNTS

Water is one of our most precious resources. Together with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, the Province of North Brabant, the drinking water company Brabant Water, and the regional water authorities De Dommel and Brabantse Delta, we are using our festival to drive circular water chains through the Every Drop Counts project — an initiative focused on water saving and circular water use.

We have been taking concrete steps to reduce water consumption and improve water efficiency at our events, including:

• Installing water-saving taps and showerheads
• Using non-potable water for all flush toilets
• Gaining insight into our full water balance to identify further opportunities for savings

And you can help too! Camping visitors can make a real impact by shortening their shower time — even a small change makes a big difference when thousands of people join in.

Together, we aim to make every drop count — for today and for future generations.

LOCKERS

You can store your stuff in your car, accommodation or tent.

There are also lockers available for rent, these are located at the Grand Camping and at the Relax Resort and accessible 24 hours a day.

Lockers can online be bought in pre-sale at the Awakenings ticketshop.

Beekse Bergen or Awakenings are not responsible for any losses or theft of personal belongings.

LOST & FOUND

Lost and found items can be handed in and picked up at the information desk during the weekend. Can’t find it while you’re here? We work together with iLost (www.ilost.com/nl) in order to return the found items to their rightful owners after the festival.

MUSIC

Bringing your own speakers is allowed, as long as they are only audible ­ within a few meters from where they’re ­ positioned and are max 30cm big. Complete stereo sets are not allowed. Of course, it’s a ­ weekend full of partying, but think about your neighbors who may want to get some sleep at night. Don’t feel like going to bed yet? You are more than welcome to have a drink and dance some more in Area N until 05:00.

TOKENS & PIN

Tokens are valid almost everywhere during the entire weekend. Only at the supermarket and merchandise stand you can pay with pin and not with tokens.

RESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS

Respect the Beekse Bergen area, campsite & festival we build and treat it appropriately. Handle items that don’t belong to you with care. Thank you.

SANITARY FACILITIES - OPEN 24H

Throughout the entire camping area there are sanitary facilities available 24H per day.

These buildings contain toilets, washbasins and warm water showers. You can also use your hairdryer, straightener or shaver here.

CAMPING ENTRANCES & OPENING HOURS

The entrances of the camping are staffed 24 hours a day. On the display of your wristband, you can walk in and out whenever you want, but don’t do it too often and stay in the Awakenings bubble. You will be checked every time you come back in.

CIGARETTES

We do not sell cigarettes at the festival or campsite (including Spar).

Due to Dutch regulations, it is forbidden to smoke inside venues and tents. If you still want to smoke, please do so outside. Thank you for cooperating and avoiding expensive fines.

Max packs of cigarettes allowed to bring per person:
Visiting 1 day = 2 packs / vaporizers
Weekend = 8 packs / vaporizers

ZZZ - Circular mattresses

Festival visitors generate a lot of camping waste, including many abandoned air mattresses. Rent an air mattress from ZZZ and yours will be recycled!
