Boris Ross

That is what you can expect from Boris Ross when he’s playing at your event. Born and raised in Rotterdam, 29 years ago, Boris Ross stands for a wide range of music from tech house to acid and from disco to techno.
When he plays, expect not just Beatport top 10 from this month, but a wide range of music, classics loops, acapella’s, techno, acid and everything in between and fit that party at that curtain time.
He plays with Traktor, 4 decks and technology makes him to even do more crazy things with different styles and genres as long as it got energy and energetic grooves. That’s the key for selecting his records.

At the age of 15, in the burning years of the Rotterdam Gabber scene, Boris started dj-ing with friends just for fun and just got addicted to listen, play, discover and produce music and most important share it to the crowd. Soon he discovered techno and house and developed his style, inspired by people like Daft Punk, Underworld (back in the days!) , Michel de Hey, Dj Jean IT mix CD's (he got them all) Carl Craig, Speedy J, Benny Rodrigues, Josh Wink, Dj Sneak, Flying Lotus, Loco Dice and many more.

He started to produce music 8 years ago to create his own dance floor music and put his roots and ideas in tracks. He is labelowner of Luxaflex Records with releases from artists like: Davide Sqaillace, Pig & Dan, Tolga Fidan, Merk Henning, Mihalis Safras, Joseph Capriati, Mr. G and more.

Boris released several tracks on labels like O Proof (Mr.G.'s label) EC recordings and of course his own label Luxaflex. His tracks are played by people like: Richie Hawtin, Locodice, Benny Rodrigues, Tiefschwarz, Joris Voorn, Technasia, Sacha, Timo Maas to name a few..
With his quality of selecting music for his DJ sets, his personality and his producing skills, Boris is a real music lover who want to entertain and guarantees you will not leave the dance floor until you’re feet doesn’t work anymore.. Festivals and clubs such as Awakenings, Catwalk Rotterdam, Nighttown/Watt, Now&Wow, Melkweg, Doornroosje, Studio 80, Sugar Factory, Maassilo are places where they already felt it.
