Charlie Hedges

Our breakfast show now broadcasts to over 4 million people Monday to Friday 6am till 9am.
I love presenting on radio and TV, am full of energy even at 6am in the morning, fun and just love life!
I have been lucky enough to have interviewed the likes of Mariah Carey, Zac Effron, Cheryl Cole, Kanye West, JLS, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera, most of these interviews you can find at www.youtube.com/charliehedges.

I’d like not to be mistaken as a ‘blonde Essex girl’ haha…. having graduated with a BA (Hons) in Journalism and I’m now a proud Ambassador for the Prince’s Trust.
I have presented my own online TV series at totalkiss.com with Impulse, created by Eyeworks, which involved tracking down men whose girlfriends had nominated them for taking them on the worst dates!

I’ve Also filmed for Eurovision TV, interviewing DJ’s on an international level for a clubbing TV programme, have presented for Kiss TV and have also been filmed for a part in Platinum’s music video ‘Emotionally Tired’ where I featured as the DJ.
I started in the media industry at the age of 13, freelancing for an urban magazine called Naked Tongue and throughout school and college worked at the News of the World, The Mirror and Evening Standard.

Djing is a massive part of my career, I play out pretty much every weekend i I can, if there’s a space for a extra gig I do it, I just love it! I have been building up my gigs independent from Kiss – playing at V Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, High Definition Dance Festival, Ayia Napa and Ibiza. I play Sexy vocal commercial Electro and House music all over London and the outskirts and some of the clubs I’ve played are Ministry of Sound, Liquid and Envy’s, Pacha, O2, Hyde Park, Embassy, for OK Magazine and have supported charity events including NSPCC, British Heart Foundation and Help for Heroes and Cancer Research.

I hope I respresent us girls well on the radio, I’d like to say I’m a real girlie girl, love shopping, make up, music but also know, love and understands football (yes women do know the offside rule haha) and I’ve always wanted to drive a monster truck!
