Sanja

Sanja is moving dance floors near and far with her colorful sound, layering house, breaks, minimal, garage and a touch of techno wrapped up in a flair that is entirely her own. As the First Lady of SlapFunk, she has been pushing her sound as a reflective of her spirit and has been able to catalyst herself and reach a wider audience throughout the world, with Honduras and El Salvador as her recent South American highlights.
Sanja appeared at major festivals like Amsterdam Open Air, Down The Rabbit Hole, Into the Woods, Mystic Garden, Paradigm, Oranjebloesem, Thuishaven and clubs such as Club Der Visionaere (Berlin), Tante Emma (Innsbruck) and PAL (Hamburg).
Unlike other artists in the scene, Sanja isn’t one who owes her musical interest from dusting off her dad’s old records. In fact, this petite champ has translated her curiosity and excessive amount of energy into her music. From an early interest in hip hop to throwing wild parties, accompanied by her grandfather’s recipe for Rakija, a good party is surely part of her legacy.
Don’t be surprised if this year you will see her reaching even higher grounds. There is no doubt that, from her perspective, she is really working her way up the ladder of life.
