Dettmann

"The typical thing in techno is that you connect with other people effortlessly, because everybody's in a good mood. And that's extra ordinary, that's the reason why I love being a part of techno. I play the music, other people promote the event or serve drinks and others just dance. Everybody is part of it!" - Marcel Dettmann | Awakenings 20 years book

"The first time I heard of Awakenings was in 2006 when several of my colleagues in Berlin had begun to play there. When I finally had the chance to play at Awakenings in 2010, my first impression was how incredible the production was. My fondest memory and favorite back to back's of all time was when Marcel Dettmann and I took over the Gashouder for the Easter Awakenings special in 2015." - Ben Klock | Awakenings 20 years book
